The Kentucky river pirates are a group of divers located in eastern Kentucky, (yea i said Kentucky) We enjoy diving in the lakes and rivers in the area. most of us are also firefighters, EMTs or Law enforcement personnal and with that we do recovery work for local wrecker companies, and people who may lose items from there boats. we are located in a very lake rich area and have a couple of rivers also in the area the Ohio river is just north, and the Big Sandy river runs rigth be side town. ( neat fact: the Big Sandy Flows north not south). The US Corp of engineers operate 5 lakes within an hours drive and the diving is always good some where, Ohio twin Quarries is within a 2 hour as well as Summersville lake (great Dive look it up, warm with 40+ feet vis) anyway please feel free to use this site and blog just ask one thing, we are a pubic site so be kind.  join us on facebooks at Divemaster Bill and on the project aware site as well !
